Prophecy:Rejected by His People
Isaiah 53:3 — "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain." Psalm 118:22 — "The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone."
These verses describe the Messiah being rejected by his own people. Jesus was publicly rejected by the Jewish leadership and crucified, fulfilling this pattern of rejection.
