Prophecy:Born in Bethlehem
Micah 5:2 — "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."
Micah 5:2 foretells that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, a small town in Judah. The New Testament records that Jesus was born there, fulfilling this geographic requirement. This detail is cited in both Matthew 2 and Luke 2.
